How to Create Southern Hospitality

I interviewed chef and “The Chew” co-host Carla Hall, who told me how to create Southern hospitality, for The One-Page Magazine in this week’s New York Times Magazine:

It’s about welcoming people with food. You shake someone’s hand and go, “Would you like something to eat?” The trick is to have people drop in and treat them like you expected them to come.
